My Dad's 60th Birthday Bash!

This is my whole family :) 2 parents, 4 kids + 4 spouses, 10 grandkids
The cousins
We started the day swimming. Luke past the swim test and went down the slide the whole time with the big cousins. Gabe and Clark were water babies in the kids pool with the little cousins.
Then we had a picnic lunch and took family pictures.

The guys went golfing while the kids napped. Then the BBQ started!
my grandparents and aunts and uncles joined us.
A little train ride.
Hanging out

The cake made by : The Frosted Cherry So Good!

One match to blow out.

Uncle Doug got the kids into a bocce ball game. They loved it!

Luke's winning smile
The day ended with a little fishing in the neighbors pond. That's where Gabe caught the 18 inch bass.

I love you Dad!

It rained on our parade!

Our Families Supporting Adoption Group participated in our city parade with an adoption float. Super fun. But we had to endure the rain while we waited for the parade to start. The rain stopped when we started parading. YEAH! It was a wonderful and successful way to promote positive feelings for adoption in the community.
Our signs got a little smeared, but the message was still heard.
The parade theme was "diary" so our theme was:
"We are "Moo"ved by adoption!" (Cows)

Ben drove the 4-wheeler, and the kids got to ride in the train.
Our little cowboys

I love adoption!

Parade Co-partner and friend in Adoption-Darci
She did so much to make this parade happen. She's amazing. Thanks!
Her family is currently hoping to adopt.
Adoption as an option:
On Good Morning America this morning they were talking about how teenage pregnancy is on the rise. 750,000 a year. They are having a special about it tonight. They will be showing the realities of teenage parenting. 8 of 10 birthfathers don't stay in the picture and the girls are left with the responsibility. I hope they mention adopt! Only 1 in 100 single women in an unplanned pregnancy place their baby for adoption. Why? Because it's the hardest way to go. It takes the most selflessness and love. I don't know, but but I do know that my kids are one in a hundred and so are their birthparents. I feel like the luckiest mom in the world. I love my 3 cowboys.

Love these Guys

Happy Father's Day Ben!
He is an amazing Dad. Loved and Adored by his Boys.
He jumps on the trampoline, wrestles, plays sports, and does "Funny stuff" when he puts them to bed at night.
He is a loving dad!
My Dad-
Consistent, Calm, loving, and an amazing example.
He is a wonderful Grandpa.
Gabe's fishing buddy (He caught an 18 inch bass with Grandpa yesterday on a kiddy pole)
Ben's Dad
Compassionate, faithful, and a great listener!

What do you do in the Summertime?

This week Ben suggested that we go and see a pig that was being gutted by our neighbor for a Luau. I thought it was a very strange activities for kids, but we went anyway. It was a really neat science class. We got to see all the organs, inside and out, and touch them. Luke liked the heart and tongue most. It was really cool. I'm a really weird mom, meant to have boys :)

New Camera

Nikon D40 -This is the best purchase I've made all year! I love it, so does Ben! It's so fun!
It takes amazing pictures and I don't even know how to really use it yet.
We went to an outside wedding. Great place to try it out.

Kissy Face

This is Clark smiling at me while I sing. He loves music. His smile makes me feel like a superstar!
I went a little camara crazy. So many great pics, I had to post them all.
I want to thank my four boys for modeling!

Carnival

We went to the school carnival (the school Luke is going to in August).
Fun Familytime!
Darts and watergun shooting were the boys favorite games.

Bake sale and ice cream, Yummy!

Clark was entertained by a potato chip bag the whole time :)

My favorite part was the cotton candy!
