Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
We are still in Boise!
The baby is official late and showing now signs of coming soon.
The baby will be here within a week for sure.
The bright side is that we haven't missed any of our holiday family parties.
Luke played the jingle bells for family caroling.
Wisemen: Ben and his siblings made their parents
a navitity costumes set for Christmas.

Christmas morning was exciting for the kids.
Luke's favorite toy was his Star Wars legos.

Gabe's favorite was actually the whoopee cushion
that Ben got in his stocking, but he also liked his little people airplane.
Ben got me a massage package. I'm so excited!
I'm glad I got those PJs on super clearance because they look like pepto-bismol.

The end of the Norweign pancake breakfast.
Pancakes, fruit, goat cheese, sour cream, bacon, and jam.

My Snowman

I told the boys that they could kick over my snowman
if they took a picture with me.
So they did immediately after this picture,
and I ate the produce from the face.

Luke loves to snow fight.
I didn't think it was a fair match-up, so I kick some snow into Ben's face.

The Whoopee Cushion
We are so thankful for the birth of the Savior. We have been so blessed. Christmas cards will go out after the greatest blessing of the year comes along. We love you all!

Keeping busy while we wait!

We went to Utah this weekend to visit with birthparent's that have chosen us. They are so wonderful, and we feel so blessed to have them in our lives. The baby is due in 8 days, and the induction date is in 17 days. We are so excited!!!

Luke had his Preschool Christmas program last week. His class recited a poem, sang "Jingle Bells" & "O Christmas Tree" and did sign language to "A Song of Peace". This a picture with his teacher.
This is Gabe's new game (and he's good at it). He loves to hide, but we doesn't tell anyone that the game is on, and he won't give away his position by laughing like Luke does. This gave me a little scare the other day when I could find him for a few minutes. Luckily, now I know his favorite spot-under the bed.

This Warms My Heart!

Family Pictures from Thanksgiving.
Waking up to snow.

Ben's Grandparent's 60th Anniversary
A good BOOK. Positive, simple book about a new baby.
Gabe loves it.

Gabe getting use to the idea of a baby.
Luke is so excited already and prays for the baby.

Animal hairstyles in the bathtub.
Their hair was only long enough for cat ears.

Service given by a friend. My friend brought us a little tree.
It made my day.

Our Heads are Spinning

After a full week of Family Thanksgiving Fun, Baby preparations, long work days for Ben, and Ben's new calling to be a couselor in the Bishopric-Our heads have not stopped spinning this last week. Lots of Emotions: Excited, overwhelmed, humbled, compassion, stress of the unknown, and love of family.
Things that are keeping us sane:
This kid just gets better with age. He is so helpful and cooperative lately. Plus I love that smile. The window blind behind him repesents the condition of my house after a day of the "Tornado Boys"

Getting Ready! I love to feel prepared. We got Bunk beds for the boys. Gabe is still figuring out how to stay in bed. He's only got 3 weeks to do it.
Wood Burning Fire : One of Ben's favorite parts about winter. Relaxing!
This kid actually makes me feel insane most of the time. He is really into throwing and dumping toys and food right now. His cousin and he got into vicks rub and shaving cream today. Luckily he has the sweetest little smile, a cute "sorry", and kiss with every mess.

BEN- He is the man. This is a picture of him helping cut onions last week for Freezer Meal Prep. He was crying so hard, we got his goggles out. I'm the Most Thankful For Him! He is such an amazing friend, husband, dad, and person. I'm so blessed to have Him.

Thanksgiving with the Dunk Family

Fabulous Thanksgiving with my parents, brother, sister and their families.
We missed my brother Richard and his family from Oregon
(They had to work Black Friday). We love you guys!

The day: Went to G&G's house, helped make the feast for lunch, Ate, told jokes, played rock band, napped, ate pie, played board and card games, looked at store ads, cleaned up and hugged goodbye.

Want to give a shout of gratitude out for all of our family, that we love so much. Also to the ones that have been the key players in helping us create our little family-the beautiful birthparents in our lives.
