is it really fall?

Clark in turning 9 months! He really likes food. Real food that he can feed himself and chew with his teeth. Loves chicken, hamburger, pizza crust, all fruits and veggies, oatmeal, crackers and cereal. In this picture he is eating ravioli.

About to make his move. He'll be crawling any day now. He is on all fours but will usually lay down, roll, and stretch to get what he wants.

He loves this mini preschool. I'm hoping it prepares him a bit for Sunbeams in January (that blows my mind). He has also successful gone to the bathroom in the toilet-Once. One step closer to potty training. Notice his shorts on backwards-he likes to dress himself ;)

Luke really likes taking pictures of his legos. I helped him make a lego video this week, but I can't get it to post.

Luke is getting more settled in school. I talk to his teacher today because he was telling me that he was losing stars at school. (It a crappy star system) She said that he had moments when he was being to social with his neighbor instead of doing his work. It's going to get better. He had a really good day today.

Walk/Ran the Women's Celebration 5K with some lady friends.

Status as a mom: Surviving.

Weekend in Utah

We went to Utah for two reasons:

1. BYU Football Game

Depressing week to be a Cougar Fan! They lost in a major way.

Ben's dad joined Ben and Luke for the game.

2. Becky (my sister) and Doug ran the "Top of Utah" Marathon

They did amazing!!!!

Their biggest fans and support group watching them run.

Starting September

Clark is 8 months
8 months and 8 teeth! He had 6 teeth brake through in one week. It's the way to go.
He's 22 lbs. and eating his share. A natural with a sippy cup of juice.

August was a big month for Clark with his blessing and sealing in the temple.

This is what Ben and I have been up too.
Yes, Ben has been a wonderful help!


Last night, we were invited to a friend's family farm. We had a hay day! We saw and pet turkeys, horses, cows, cats, and frogs. I picked blackberries, and Ben and the boys explored freely.
When I caught the frog for the boys to play with, the other moms commented on how brave I was. I didn't think it was brave. I like frogs, snakes, and gutting fish.
