Backyard water fun!

I LOVE SMOOTHIES
Clark is turn 19 months
He had a great first day of church Nursery with a little crying in the beginning.
He loves being big.
He is still jabbering all the time, but now there are very clear words in the middle of the jabber. Cow, cup, book, and NO. He uses "no" for yes and no. Very confusing.
He likes to run around with his brothers, and still clings to mom and dad whenever possible.
The cyst on his ear filled with fluid again, so he will be going in again in the middle of August to have the cyst removed.
We love our Clarky!

July 3rd Celebration in Willard, UT

We experienced an awesome small town 4th of July celebration in Utah
with her sweet sister and her family
The celebrations included:
foot races
(Gabe, in red shorts, still placed in the top 3,
even though kid next to him is elbowing him)
It rained candy. Awesome!

Not just for the kids---Becky and I had to try it out! Watch out little kid!

The pregnant lady is stuck in the water.

The water was really cold.

Sucker toss
Cupcakes walk--More Sugar!

A Special Visitor

We were lucky to have Luke's birthmom, her husband and kids come to visit. It was wonderful to see each other. We had dinner and played with toys. Luke read them a book and show them his drawings. It's great to keep up on each other's lives. We love Luke's birthmom and family! Thanks for coming to visit.

(Luke has a red licorice smile.)

Nana's new dog

My parents got a new puppy.
The first thing my kids said, "Why can't we have a dog?"
Because I'm the meanest mom in the whole world.
The dog is pretty cute. Her name was Lady Jane, but now it's been changed to Mandy Jane because my parents can't stop calling her by our last dog's name (Mandy). I think I'll call her Janey.
She really liked Luke. Probably because she felt safe.

Watch out Janey! There's a monster coming.

We Love Adoption!
Families Supporting Adoption entered to be in our local city parade!
It's a great way to promote positive feelings about adoption in our community.

The kids love riding in the train

Blow bubbles, wave, and eat candy=Great times

Ben drove the train
I helped pass out candy to the crowd and monitor the kids in the train.

OUCH!

Playing with a medical bandage

Gabe

Luke

The real injury: Ben slid into home base during a softball game. His leg rolled right over the bat that had been left there. It was very painful. A huge bruise and very swollen.

Clark had a little surgery to have a lump taken off his ear. They thought it was a seroma (pre-cauliflower ear) but it ended up being a sebaceous cyst. This one was not infected. He had an infected cyst on his leg in November. He did really well with the anesthesia, the procedure, and the recovery was quick.
