Gabe's birthday!

"It's my birthday!"
Caught him working on his new tricycle with his new safety goggles on. It was so funny and cute.
Three years ago, we had an amazing first meeting with Jessica (Gabe's birthmom). We left exhilarated about the adoption of this coming baby. As we drove off in our cars, Jessica's water broke. Not knowing we made our way home while she made her way to the hospital. We were shocked to hear of his birth the next morning. It was such a fun surprise. We drove the distance to the hospital where he was born. I remember walking into the hospital room and seeing two beautiful angels, one was a heavenly sister full of sacrifice and love and the other was my baby boy. He had such a calming spirit about him. I'm so grateful that God watched other them both through that emergency delivery. We are SO thankful to have Gabe in our family.

Many thoughts

Light the Night Walk
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has a 2 mile family walk in memory of loved ones taken or that have survived these diseases. Ben's Aunt died of Leukemia 2 years old and his grandma H. survived Lymphoma.
It was cold.
A little dinner in the park before the walk.

We pick out Halloween Costumes
Not to ruin the Halloween post, but Luke and Gabe were SO excited about their costumes. They were having mock fights.
So Dramatic! A-HAA!
Getting So Big!
This was one of those weeks when I realized my kids are getting so big. Maybe it's the winter clothes. Don't they look big in these pictures?

Luke's school picture.
Little obsessions
Luke loves star wars legos! This is his art from school.

This week when Clark got me from his nap, he wouldn't let go of his blanket (as seen in the pic). The other boys both have a favorite blanket. I think it's a learn behavior in our house.
As said before, Clark loves food. He can't get enough, fast enough. He tenses his face and body and makes a grunting noise when it isn't coming fast enough. He also twirls his hands and feet like crazy, in excitement, when he's about to get his food.
This jump rope hasn't left Gabe's hands for four day. Very handy for shutting door and dragging toys.

Loving Little Brother
Seeing this warms my heart!
They love their little brother.
God sends these moments to help me feel like I'm doing something right.
