4th of July

New Car-2005 Toyota Matrix

This car was a breath of fresh air after test driving cars that claimed to be "in great condition. Nothing wrong." We looked at cars that the automatic lock didn't work, engine check light on, totally trashed, broken windows, and doors that wouldn't even open. Come on people tell it how it is.

The owner was so proud of the $50 Hello Kitty seat covers he had just bought. I think the pink is the balance we need in our lives.

4th of July party: Mormon BBQ and homemade slip-n-slide

Battle of Saipan-WWII America took control from Japan. Artifacts left behind.
Suicide cliff where 20,000 Japanese soldiers and civilians jumped to escape capture.

Luke watched a instructional video on youtube and drew this tank. Cool.

These are our new friends. The R family arrived 4 days after us to also work in the hospital. They had two boys the same ages as Luke and Gabe. They are God sent.

This is the "Thursday Market". This is where we eat dinner every Thursday. We can feed our family for $10. Six Chinese sides for $5.

So cool! You should definitely keep the Hello Kitty seat covers. I love the history on the island!
